Description

A flavorful Bang Bang Chicken Bowl filled with tender chicken, vegetables, and a spicy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • ¼ cup green onions, sliced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (more if you like it spicy)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions. Set aside once done.
  2. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and soy sauce. Mix until smooth. Taste and adjust spice level if necessary.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Once the chicken is nearly done, add broccoli florets and shredded carrots to the skillet. Stir and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  6. Place a generous scoop of rice in a bowl, top it with the bang bang chicken mixture, and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish.
