Description

A delicious twist on traditional waffles using bread, butter, and cinnamon sugar.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 slices bread (white or wheat)

Instructions

  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. Mix butter, brown sugar and cinnamon together with a fork until well combined.
  3. Spread onto one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Place cinnamon-sugar bread into hot waffle iron and cook for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. Carefully remove from the waffle iron and cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of salt to the butter mixture.
  • Serve with syrup or whipped cream if desired.
