A delicious twist on traditional waffles using bread, butter, and cinnamon sugar.
Ingredients

- 1/4 cup butter (softened)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 slices bread (white or wheat)
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Mix butter, brown sugar and cinnamon together with a fork until well combined.
- Spread onto one side of each slice of bread.
- Place cinnamon-sugar bread into hot waffle iron and cook for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown.
- Carefully remove from the waffle iron and cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of salt to the butter mixture.
- Serve with syrup or whipped cream if desired.
