Description

A delicious and healthy twist on pizza using cottage cheese as the base, topped with marinara, mozzarella, and your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup turkey pepperoni slices
  • 2 tablespoons sliced black olives
  • 2 tablespoons diced bell peppers
  • 1 tablespoon sliced red onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While it heats, lightly grease a small oven-safe baking dish or ramekin.
  2. Create the creamy base by spreading the cottage cheese evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  3. Add the marinara sauce over the cottage cheese and gently spread it out to cover the surface.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top, making sure to cover the sauce completely.
  5. Layer the toppings: add turkey pepperoni, olives, bell peppers, and red onion. Finish with oregano, basil, and a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden around the edges.
  7. Rest for 5 minutes before enjoying. The layers settle, the cheese thickens slightly, and every spoonful tastes like pizza in bowl form.
