Description
A delicious mix of Rice or Corn Chex cereal, pretzels, and chocolate drizzled with caramel.

- 9 cups Rice or Corn Chex cereal
- 2 cups mini pretzels
- 1 1/2 cups caramel bits or soft caramels
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Prepare a large mixing bowl and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt caramel bits and butter over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract if using.
- Place the Chex cereal into the large bowl and pour the warm caramel over it. Stir gently to coat evenly.
- Add in the mini pretzels and fold gently to combine without breaking them.
- Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted. Drizzle over the mix and gently fold again.
- Transfer the mixture into a large zip-top bag or clean paper bag, add powdered sugar, and shake until fully coated.
- Spread mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and let it cool for 15–20 minutes.
- Once cool, transfer to an airtight container or serve immediately.

- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Try adding other mix-ins like nuts or dried fruit for variation.
