- 4 medium apples, preferably tart varieties like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
- 4 bars Snickers bars, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (salted or unsalted)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the apples thoroughly. If desired, toss them in lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Chop the apples into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- Carefully chop each Snickers bar into small chunks, ensuring they’re about the same size as the apple pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples, Snickers, and chopped peanuts.
- Drench the mixture with caramel sauce and gently fold in the whipped topping until everything is well coated.
- Allow the salad to chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
