- 1 cup diced Beef Ham
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1 cup Milk (whole or non-dairy)
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Melted Butter (unsalted)
- 1 tablespoon Chives (fresh, chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a 12-cup standard muffin tin with paper liners or grease it well.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, dry mustard powder, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In a separate bowl, lightly beat the large eggs, then whisk in the milk and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the diced beef ham, shredded cheese, and fresh chives until evenly distributed.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
