Description

A simple and healthy sautéed broccolini recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 bunches broccolini (trimmed, approximately 14 spears)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the butter and olive oil to a non-stick skillet or pan over medium heat.
  2. Once melted, add the minced garlic, then the broccolini, and sauté them for 7-8 minutes. If you notice the broccolini burning around the edges, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water to the skillet.
  3. Remove from the heat and serve with sliced lemon and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.

Notes

  • Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
